Just wanted to share my story about the progress I’ve made with the pair of Airsteps I received last year. As you know, I’m a type 1 diabetic, and in 2019 I tore the ligaments in my right leg during an indoor soccer match. During that hospital stay, I was also diagnosed with neuropathy in my lower right leg. It took me seven months to recover from the torn ligament, and what followed was even worse - four years of uncontrollable high sugar levels that led to nights of intense leg pain. I would literally wake up from a deep sleep with horrible pins and needles and severe pain in my legs. No pain tablets worked. It was something I just had to live with, until I started using the Airstep. Since then, it has been an absolutely amazing journey. I quit smoking, changed my diet, and now I successfully do 20,000 steps a day in these shoes. They have improved my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I no longer take pain medication, and I sleep like a baby - nine hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. I even stopped taking Ecotrin daily; now I only take it twice a week, just to be safe. It’s incredible how a shoe has completely changed my life. I’m even looking forward to getting back on the court.
